When 22 women sued independent label Girls Do Porn in June for allegedly manipulating them into performing sex acts for a global audience, it wasn’t enough for giant adult video site Pornhub to stop promoting Girls Do Porn as an official “Content Partner” and profiting from the arrangement. The videos were heavily monetized and globally distributed on Pornhub, the world’s largest and most popular porn site. Pornhub consistently ranks in the top 10 most visited among all the websites in the world, drawing more visitors in April than Instagram, CNN and Walmart. «Personally, I’m happy they found him. But I’m even happier for all of his victims,” Brian Holm, attorney for the victims in the civil trial, told Motherboard. “Bringing Pratt to justice will bring the closure they need to heal. However, the lawsuit would begin to pick up momentum over the next year or two, with eighteen additional women coming forward to join the suit, adding on their own claims of fraud and mistreatment at the hands of the men running this scheme. In at least one case, the young woman had only been seventeen years old at the time she began corresponding with Pratt, Wolfe, and Garcia, who then began making plans to fly her across state lines after her eighteen birthday… One woman (Jane Doe #4) would claim that in her 2013 shoot, she suffered an extreme amount of pain during the shoot and asked the two men present (Andre Garcia and Matthew Wolfe) to leave.
